Visitors to Orange County have many different things to see and do. You can spend your days sightseeing and your nights enjoying the nightlife. Some of the things to do during the day are to visit the Flightdeck, which allows you to fly a fighter jet as the pilot. A simulation provides adventure and some intense excitement. The ability to see first hand how it feels to be the pilot is amazing. Many people young and old go to the Flightdeck to have an experience that is not found anywhere else.

There are four major historical sites to see in Orange County. The Casa Romantica in San Clemente is just beautiful. It overlooks the pier in San Clemente and was built in 1928. You will see special events, musical entertainment and historic exhibits. You will feel the reality and romance that the Southern part of California is famous for as well as the beautiful architecture of the home.

Before you end your day, visit San Juan Capistrano’s mission district. This is where Orange County started over two hundred years ago. It still shows the heritage of its European, Spanish and Native American cultures. The Ronald Regan Federal Building is also a great place to visit. Located in Santa Ana, the building shows the tradition and technology used in today’s society.

In Dana Point, you can see The Pilgram. This amazing ship is a life size replica of the original ship that was used for smuggling in the early years of Orange County. If you find this interesting, you will enjoy a trip on the Ocean Institute. This is a ship that takes you to the depths of the ocean with scientists operating the controls. You will see the study of sea lions, dolphins and whales. After seeing these two ships and experience the study done by scientist, you will have a better understanding of the way things are viewed in Dana Point.

Two other points of interest in Orange County are the Crystal Cathedral and the Discovery Science Center. The Discovery Science Center is located in Santa Ana and educates people on science, technology and math. This is not a school, but an interesting way to learn about the subjects through exhibits and dedicated programs. Garden Grove is where you will find the cathedral is a beautiful creation in Garden Grove. Just glazing at the cathedral will memorize you.

There are always things to do in Orange County for fun and excitement as well as learning something that you will not learn anywhere else. You can find interesting parks, historical areas and learn about different cultures when you visit the different areas. If you have a chance to see some of the out of the way places, you will also see something’s you never would have thought about before. Orange County is one of the most interesting places in the United States. The area is filled with fun and history.
