In Orange, California, you can find the Orange County Zoo. Keep in mind that even though this zoo is within the city does not mean it is small. It is set on 477 acres of land. Here you will find plants and animals customary to the southwestern area of the country. The Orange County Zoo is where you are going to find the bears, lions and tigers. If you want somewhere to take the kids where they can pet the animals and feed them, you will enjoy Zoomers Petting Zoo and Bird Park in San Juan Capistrano. You are going to feed, touch and mingle with bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, llamas, emus and goats. The do have pony rides and a miniature train that you can ride around on. At Zoomers Zoo, you can plan a birthday party or plan to join the kids club. They also have summer camps available, which is a great experience for all children.
